Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio have confirmed that A Plague Tale: Innocence has gone gold; meaning it’s well on track for its release in May.

Due for release on the 14th of May 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, A Plague Tale: Innocence follows the story of siblings Amicia and Hugo in the harsh and plague-ridden 14th century. The two seak safety while evading the mysterious and deadly Inquisition, rats and an increasingly angry populace.

Already the game has gained rave reviews from early builds and is looking like it will live up to its hype.

Gamers looking to pre-order can do so from the official website for all platforms. Digital pre-orders come with alternative outfits and coats of arms for Amicia and Hugo while retailer copies of the game will have region-specific rewards.
