Image & Form Confirm SteamWorld Heist for Nintendo Switch

Piper Faraday and her ragtag group of steambots are making their way to the Nintendo Switch later this month in SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition.

One of my all-time favourite games, SteamWorld Heist first released on the Nintendo 3DS back in December 2015 and was an instant hit. Travelling the stars Captain Pipper and her crew fought to free the galaxy from the tyranny of the evil diesel-powered Royalists and their Queen.

Image & Form later released an HD version on the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita as well as a DLC pack featuring Fen – those who have played SteamWorld Dig 2 maybe be familiar with the name – as well as more levels to traverse and loot.

Coming December 28th 2017, SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, including all previously released DLC for €19.99 ($19.99). In addition, the team has confirmed they will be bringing even more games to the console next year! Here’s hoping for SteamWorld Dig 1 and with any luck a sequel to SteamWorld Heist!

Check out the teams “Engine Room” below where they chat about their future plans as well as the trailer for SteamWorld Heist on the Switch. Let us know what you think in the comments below. Excited? Ecstatic? I know I am!
